that's where we get off to catch a bus only on way home from Sydney, and only as far as we know in the night time......

its so annoying.....we was not told either times when we bought tickets ........ so last time we got a sleeper......cause it really is a long way from sydney to casino...... and all are tired......and then having to get on a bus where ya gotta more or less sit like ya in a straight jacket..is not good....we have not asked the reason.....

ive sent you a e-mail explaining the reason why............ and the journey from Sydney Central to Casino is 14 hrs 12 mins and the coach service from Casino to Brisbane is another 2 hrs and 34 mins

well it dont make sense to me neither........cause we catch XPT train in Brisbane to go to Sydney..... coming home should be the same......track work cant last for years surely..... i know lots of track work gets done at night..anyways ....... we not risk it last time we got a sleeper...so this time too.......

from what I can gather the track work is being done at night, to avoid delays to daytime services. That happens here in the UK too Leave a Reply. |

The XPT power car features a Paxman VP185 12-cylinder, turbo-charged diesel electric engine boasting 1492 kW or 2000 horsepower. There's a power car at each end of the train, one pulling and the other pushing.
