Burton-on-Trent and Skegness Stations are currently managed by East Midlands trains, although owned by Network Rail. Burton-on-Trent (Burton) is my nearest railway station

filmed by Dave filmed by me - Dave These are scanned copies from the free booklet guide I received when I visited the National Railway Museum at York, on September 26th 2015 Click any of the booklet pages to pop out The National Railway Museum booklet is a free guide handed out on entry to the main hall. It is totally free to visit the National Railway Museum at York, however you are free to make a donation either before proceeding into the vast halls or outside, or you can donate before leaving at the end of your visit. If you love steam trains and want to see them up real close, as well as have a chance to actually touch as well, then the National Railway Museum is the place to go to. For best photo oportunities I wouldn't recommend weekends as all the halls can get very busy. |
